Graduation speech

Like the song that the Sister Sledge group sang, we are family. Golf is a family as our real family is. Our friends are our brothers and sisters. Our teachers and staff are our parents. School is exactly like a family because of what we do. We fight, we forgive, we praise and we bicker.  That's how life is going to be. We have to make life the best life we can.
In school we learned that saying the truth will get you in trouble. So everybody learned to have to keep secrets. I have a secret of my own. My secret is that I learned that the secret to these 4 years and well to these next couple decades is that we are changing each other every single day. Whether it's your parents forcing you to pass all your tests with flying colors or just people you know that are doing something stupid and you join in and get in trouble too. Whether it's people telling secrets at Camp MacLean or hiding them in your minds. It's whether you decide to be the bigger person and step away no matter what they call you or to be a follower and join them and not be called anything is what changes you.
People changing others is what the teachers do for us every day. From dividing and conquering our work to independent try harding. From participating to stop talking or your going to miss something good. They fill us with all the info that we can take in and make sure that we are protected and secure so that we can do what we came to school to do. We learn. Having fun is one thing you can make the best out of school but our main focus is to learn.
Another way people change people is that we learn from what we have done. We learn to shut our gates when our dogs runs away or to be safer on your bike and look both ways or to stop procrastinating when you have a lot of work to do. That should change us for the better.
EVEN OUR EXPERIENCES AT GOLF ARE THINGS THAT CAN CHANGE US FOR THE BETTER. WE LEARNED THAT 4 CLAPS CAN LAND YOU INTO THE PRINCIPALS OFFICE. WE LEARNED, THAT STICKING YOUR NOSE IN SOMEONE'S BUSINESS CAN PUT YOU ON THE FLOOR. I FOR SURE LEARNED THAT 10 OUT OF 10 TIMES, TO ALWAYS TRUST YOURSELVES.
Those little changes from learning from mistakes with the right mind can turn a druggie into a scholar in time. People changing others. Remember that. Change people for the better. That's what your families do for you. Do some good for someone else. Thank you teachers, staff, class of 2016, and of course our parents. We wouldn't even be here without you guys. KUYA OUT.

PARCC testing

PARCC testing is very bad. I hate it. I sit in a room for one to two hours straight just writing. These standardize tests are just to find out how the school is doing. It doesn't even have grades for these tests. I do not like just being in a silent room with a bunch of other bored people taking a long test for 4 days straight. I would rather be learning for a longer day than be PARCC testing. At least in school, it will help me succeed. I would rather be in learning in prison than do PARCC testing. PARCC doesn't make any sense to me because sooner or later we will be learning the same stuff anyway.

Endings and Beginnings

An ending and beginnings mean big things. It can mean big or small things. I am sad that I have to leave my middle school life but I'm looking forward to high school. What I'm really going to miss is my soccer team. American Spirit. I played on that travel team for 6 years and  right now it's looking to be the last year I'm going to be there. I am going into high school now and I loved my soccer team. I started out in this little league called AYSO. It was a kick and run soccer league. Nothing good. I was better than the others so the league wanted my friends and me to go to Nashville to play in a tournament. I said let's go but the tourney was canceled but the coach said that he is building a new soccer team up and I wanted to join. WE started out with a full season of practice and then once the played the first game we lost. In fact my team went winless for 2 seasons. I started to recruit some new players like my friends and we made a new team and we went undefeated the next year. After that season I had played with a whole new team and we went back down again. Winless. Now this is my last year and I'm playing U14 and U16 games to play my age group and older kids too which I'm happy for.

Field Trip Blog

The best field trip I've ever been to was the Children's Museum. I had a very good time at the museum when I was 5. My day started out as usual, a sarcastic Lance walking into the bathroom to brush his teeth. I was diligently brushing so I wouldn't have cavities. I went to school and my school and I left for the bus. The way there was boring but by the time we got there, it was 12. I ran straight to the grocery store. I played with the carts and the milk. After that, we went to the construction site. My dad put a bunch of play bricks and I picked them up. That was one of my favorite places to be at. My favorite place was to be at the water tanks. I would pick up pretend fish. My favorite time was when I dunked my head in the water. My head was soaked. After that, we went on the bus and I slept there the whole ride back.

I'm still here quote

 Dear Diary,
Donald Trump is still in the running for president. Stephen Curry is still doing better than Lebron James. I have three B's in my current semester. That's not important though. There are more things to care about like world hunger or Isis. Isis is out there killing people like the Nazis and I'm worrying about my grades. A portion of the world is starving and I'm wondering about the new president???? Anyway there are a lot of wars out there and people dying from causes that people can handle and we are thinking about small things. We NEED to start thinking about the bigger things instead of what clothes should I wear. We should be thinking like when are people going to start caring for the needy and to stop being racist. That's what we have to think about.

Erika's Quotation Blog

“We must live, and when this is all over, we must work to make the world a better place.  And if we die, we will die knowing that it was not our fault, that we did our best, and we can go to our deaths in dignity… I want you both to live…And to remember...You must choose love.  Always choose love.”  Choose love over anything is basically what Erika is saying.  "We will die knowing that it's not our fault" is saying that if they die, they would have no regrets. They have lived a great life and will die with dignity and heart. The beginning is talking about when the world ends and they are still alive, then they will make a better place in the world or the next generation, The middle talks about if they die then they have lived a perfect life. And the last couple sentences state that love is the way to go. Erika's quote is inspiring and I hop other people will learn to love just as much as she does.

Summer Free Post

My new free post is about my summers for the past two years. I have been outside almost everyday whether I'm playing soccer with my friends or just hanging out with them. I love being outdoor even though there are bees or flies I dont care. I love the weather so much. I can relax and not wear my tight North Face, I can wear just a tank top and shorts and have fun. I also like the things that i can do in summer like jump on a trampoline or swim or just run around and have fun. Summer is like a best friend.
